Joris Driepinter is a fictional character who appeared in the 1960s and 1970s in advertisements for milk. He was conceived by Dimitri Frenkel Frank and designed by the Dane Ib Antoni Jensen. When Jensen died in 1973, the Dairy Bureau wanted to continue the campaign and Paul Mertz of Prad, who was responsible for it, asked me to make the drawings. At that time, Prad occasionally consciously employed designers who were not involved in advertising.
